Okay, it does not have to be a specific one. But If I was to say, get double the recommended daily value of Vitamin A one day, could I skip getting the correct amount the next day? (because I had double the day before)

If not, how come that is the case?

  1. Yes.  And vitamin A is stored for up the 1 year in the body.  Other vitamins can not be stored in the body, those you should have daily.

  2. Vitamin use is based on your bodies needs on per day basis. I would not recommend that you skip or double up. You need to remember that your body can only intake so much at a time to digest and your digestive system will dispose what the body will not take in.

  3. You could, because Vitamin A is stored in fat cells (fat soluble). If you ever needed any, your body could get it from there. Other than Vitamins A, D, E, and K, you would have to take the recommended dose again the next day because all other vitamins are water soluble, which means that if you take too much one day, you'll urinate it out.
