Is it possible to start a microworm culture without culture starter?if yes,how?

I'm pretty sure you get the worms in the starter. You cant grow them out of thin air.

Ebay has a few good listings. And they are nowhere near expensive.

I've come across an article about starting a microworm culture with a piece of potato, but i haven't tried it out yet. here's the link:

If you know someone with one already going ask them for a hand full,that's what i did,keep them in a cool dark place mist them daily,feed potatoes careful not to over mist.
