  1. totally a NO...that must be a yeast infection or something in that nature id it persist go to the doc.

  2. im not sure but i dont think so .....it could be some other kind of discharge

  3. no offence but u sure thats what that is? your cervix shouldnt be opening anymore LOL thats what that plug is there for, it would have disappeared during birth.. its probably just thick discharge. maybe your pregnant again? maybe thats why ur discharge has changed. Or <no offence> and STD? or have you started B/C or something taht could change horemones?

  4. Its not your plug. you are probably just ovulating or you may have an infection. go see your dr

  5. I am not sure, but I doubt you have any of your mucous plug left, I was under the impression that it was gone before baby arrived...of course I could be wrong but this sounds unrealistic to me

  6. sounds like discharge. there is no way you will have a mucus plug after giving birth.

  7. its def not your mucus plug!!! if you dont lose it by yourself befor you have the baby it comes out while you are having the abby! id recomend going to the dr....it might be something, and it might not...but better safe then sry!

  8. Obviously it's not. Probably just blood clots. Normal.

  9. Im almost certain thats not your mucus plug.  That is odd and i would go to th ob/gyn to check for infection.  Theres no way you'd still have a mucus plug.

  10. Are you absolutely sure it's the mucus plug?  When you ovulate, you usually have this jelly-like stuff that comes out.  Could that be what it is?  This jelly-like stuff is clear to white in color and can sometimes have a little blood in it from ovulation.

  11. I don't think its possible for you to still have your mucus plug coming out after 8 months ... it usually stops once the baby passes through the birth canal. Maybe check with your ob/gyn.

  12. You can't have your mucous plug, it would have all come out with the baby. It is more likely a little bit of your placenta still. That isn't good, definitely go to the DR's as soon as you get the chance to get it checked out. Next time, try to keep a piece to show to your DR so it will go faster as to determine what it is.

  13. Sweetheart... That is NO mucus plug!!

I would say that that is discharge.

It could be that you are or are wanting to begin ovulation.

You discharge becomes a jelly like substance and or white and watery.

Your mucus plug goes bye-bye just right before you have your baby.

It will definitely be gone by the time you deliver the placenta.

The whole purpose in having a mucus plug is to help keep baby in until you are ready to give birth.

If you are worried and want to know exactly what is going on with your body, just wait and see what all your doctor tells you.

    Good luck...

  14. This is NOT the mucous plug!!!!!! lol

Your mucous plug is small and just plugs up the little cervical hole which is like half a centimetre wide. You dilate to 10 centimetres and then blood, water, a baby and a placenta gush out! No WAY there is mucous plug left.

After the birth you have some blood for a few weeks which is from the place the placenta was located healing. This is not anything to do with the mucous plug.

If it was still this blood you would have an infection by now.

It is far more likely that your fertility is returning and hence you will be starting to produce fertile mucous which helps the sperm live until you ovulate which is probably today or very soon. Or it could be your actual period. If you havn't had your period yet and this isn't it - it will probably be here in 2 weeks

  15. I just thought I'd be the 14th person to say "It's not your mucus plug."  That would be impossible.  You are probably ovulating and have alot of egg white cervical mucus this month.  Some times you might not notice it at all and other times it seems like there is gobs of it.
