Question:

Is it possible to stop all the personal attacks on this site?

I'm referring to the 'free for all' about the question posed about Jr last night. We all have our favorite drivers, and I love the passion people have for their drivers, but I see no reason to put down someone who may be a fan of another driver.

  1. I've learned it's best to just not take the bait.

Once you stop biting, they eventually find a new pond.

Worked for this little fishy, and I'm usually the one who comes out smelling the better for it (at least I hope I do)

  2. If it violates the rules you can report it and their answer will be removed. If the same person get reported enough they get kicked off. But then they just start a new profile and the cycle continues.

I don't go on here much anymore because of the jerks. It would be nice if a person just read the question and answered it. After they answer then they could read other answers. I find that most of the time people are responding to the other answers instead of anwering the question asked. I deleted the last three questions I asked because of that reason alone. Out of three questions I got maybe 22-28 responses, but only one person answered the question.

  3. Find the root of who's causing it...this person has already said they've had 3 accounts banned before so that should tell you something. I don't see why someone has to call out somebody almost every question just because they disagree with them. Oh well, I'm just gonna ignore it from now on, and I'm sure #18 #1 fan will, too. I don't report either because it never deletes them when I do anyway

  4. Yeah. it hurts my feeling tremendously.

Maybe if we beg the public to stop picking on us, they will stop.

Please stop you meanies. Your hurting feelings here.

  5. it is sad people attack others.  i like questions that are neutral and happy.  it would be nice for people to stop being mean.

  6. These are not true NASCAR fans.................

  7. I think it would be very hard to stop the personal attacks. Like many others have said, there is no reason for it & I totally agree. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and it's impossible for all the fans to like the same driver. Most of it is the trolls. There may be a few Nascar fans  who take things to the limit but they are the ones who give the rest of us a bad name. I am a very proud member of Junior Nation but I can speak my mind without the dislike and bashing. Hate is a very strong word to use.

I agree with you & Winter, just read a few words, ignore them and move on.

  8. I totally agree with all the previous answers....would love to just answer/read serious questions/posts for/by/of serious fans....I get tired of all the drama.

  9. I don't know about the question you asked but you can always report abuse.

  10. That's what the "report abuse" is for.

  11. It's not possible, and even if it were, it's not even probable.  As long as people are hiding behind a cloak of supposed anonymity (although nothing online is REALLY anonymous), then they're going to post derogatory comments about someone.  I've even caught myself doing it from time to time.  (Okay, so I do it a LOT.)  But, mine are mostly in jest.  It's not cool when people actually do it out of HATE.  If you feel questions and comments are completely out of malice, that's why we have the "Report Abuse" button.  Don't be afraid to use it.  Otherwise, just let the children play, and ignore them.  That's the easiest solution.
