Is it possible to store Luggage (suitcases) at Dublin's main railway station for for example in 8 hours?

Yes you can.  Someone else mentioned that Busaras is the main train station... it is not! Busaras is the main bus/coach station in Dublin.  Connolly Train Station is very near the Busaras and both a pretty central in Dublin.  The other main train station is Heuston.. neither has the title of main Dublin Station as it depends on where you are going to which station you use.  

Both Connolly and Heuston have got lockers to rent for your bags.

Yes it is. You can leave luggage in Connolly station or in Busaras the train station. (Apologies, I meant bus station).

They are not 24 hour though, so you can't retrieve them after midnight or before about 6am.

It's possible to store luggage in some train and bus stations.

But one time last year, at the one nearest to where I live, some people simply left theirs and never retrieved it.

That was such bad spelling in that answer above mine.First of all its buseirenn & second of all its houstin station.thats the main.I think I should having grown up there.They have gottin rid of storage lockers due to drugs & IRA scar bombs.They may have them back now but I doubt it
