Question:

Is it possible to straightwire an 802.11n usb adapter into the back of a usb port?

would it still lock up this usb port or could i still use it? i know theres 4 'wires' in a usb dongle.... could i just solder these directly into my laptops inside.. id like to have the wireless n capability and i dont have a pcmcia slot on this laptop....... i dont want a usb dongle sticking out constantly either.. thanks

  1. No, only one device can use a single usb port; and it's not worth it, a single error while soldering and the entire laptop will be fried.
