Is it possible to study 1st year engg in chennai and other 3years in other state like maharashtra...?

studying 1st year in chennai and getting transferred to other state and to continue the course is it possible to join as 2nd year student in other state....? Mind you got it.......... Mr.shar

It is not LKG or Pre KG.. You are studying Engineering.  So think like a graduate.  You cannot do that.  Continue your studies here in Chennai. Or go to Maharashtra and start fresh.

Ofcourse if that University approves and admits you, you can do that.  But its not possible.

It is possible. It would be easier to get a transfer if you are in one of the deemed universities - I myself got a transfer from Satyabhama to VIT Pune. You can get it on health or family grounds. Don't try other reasons - they won't work. And you won't be able to get a transfer to some state university easily - you'll probably need big contacts to pull them through. Going to one of the many deemed universities should be easy - they are always looking for money.
