  1. yes, that could be done

  2. if your a pro you can surf anything, a few years ago i saw pics in a surf magazine of rob machado (at least i think it was him and slater) surfing on an upside down coffee table, luggage, and who knows what else, but they are surf gods.  you could probably surf the wake surfer in the ocean, but it would be a pain in the butt because that isnt what it was designed to do. usually wake surfers have small fins that would slide out like crazy on a real wave.  just go buy a real surfboard, you can use those in the ocean and behind a boat.

  3. no u will sink unless u weigh less than 10 lbs

  4. The ancient Hawaiians surfed on boards that were practically just wooden planks. I have seen guys stand up surfing on Body boards. I imagine that if you have the skill, and can take off on the wave, you could surf on an ironing board. But, that is not what wake boards are designed for. If you are going to the ocean, go to a real surf shop and buy or rent a real surf board. I am sure that no one wants a kook paddling around their favorite break, getting in their way, with a wake board. Real surfers love all other surfers, but enough is enough  brother.
