Is it possible to swap Chevy engine from Chevy Blazer 2000 with a Nissan RB20DE/T engine?

If it's not, wht alternate Japanese engine I can use?

  1. You neglect to mention why you want to reduce the displacement of the engine under the hood of your Blazer. Be advised that this is no way to increase fuel economy; in fact, a 4-cylinder straining against a Blazer's bulk might actually get worse gas mileage.

    In short, it can be done, but you won't be pleased with the outcome


  2. Yes, but it will be a lot of work. New engine mounts transmission needs an adapter for the bell housing  or swap transmission. Then you will need to get a drive shaft made more than likely. Then you will have to re-wire everything under the hood. So it's not for the normal do-it yourself person.
