Hey guys, im going to be traveling around europe by train soon with my girlfriend and we will be camping some of the way, so we need a small gas camping cooker to cook our food etc, thought my girlfriend brought it to my atention that we would not be able to take these cookers on the plane, does anyone have any experience in this kind of thing and know if it is or isnt possible to take one of these cookers on a plane. Or does anyone know of an alternative that is aloud to be taken on a plane?

Any advice is good advice

  1. I don't think you will be able to take that on a plane.

    Here is some other options

1-Can you empty the gas from it and refill it?

2-Can you purchase another one when u land?

3-Try shipping it to your destination with a ground fright

4-Call the airline and ask.  You will probably have to declare it and they might let you take it.
