Is it possible to take ap bio in freshmen year???

is it anyway possible to take ap bio in freshmen year?...its not right?..its impossible to take any ap's in freshmen year am i right about this?

Every school is different.  At my school, no freshmen are allowed to take any AP classes.  Sometimes you have to take AP classes as an elective.  The best way to find out is to ask your counselor, they would know what your school says.

Well at my high school in NY AP Biology is a senior class (which I took this year) and about 2 years ago they started letting freshman take it. Seniors have separate classes of course, with one teacher teaching the freshman and another with the seniors. It was hilarious because we had to take a trip to a local university to do a lab and us seniors were getting so fed up with the freshman on the bus ride there, they were so immature and annoying lol.

usually all ap classes have prerequisites that you must complete before doing that ap course. For instance if you want to take ap bio you would have to take pre-ap biology before that in order to take it. I think the earliest you could probably take it is your sophomore year.

I don't think so, i think you had to be a senior in my school to take ap bio. I know some classes, you could be a junior and take some ap classes. I don't know if that rule is different in other schools or not.

It kind of depends on the school you go to. Generaly speaking, however, most schools don't allow students to take an AP course during freshman year. You're usually supposed to take an honors biology course freshman year, then continue to AP bio. in sophomore year. That's what my school does. For me, it was different. I just took AP bio. sophomore year without any bio. experience, so it does depend on your school. You should call your guidance counselor and ask them. Good luck.
