Is it possible to take saved shows from my DVR and transfer them to my computer?

I have many shows saved on my DVR, and i would like to view them on my laptop rather than on my TV. Is there a way to transfer the shows on my DVR onto my laptop?

  1. Not sure but it seems impossible.

    Another option though is to just try and find the shows on surfthechannel.com.

    They have almost every show I've been interested in and you don't have to download them. You can just watch them as you would a youtube video.
