Is it possible to talk in two different voices at the same time like the girl in The Exorcism Of Emily Rose?

I heard it's possible to learn to talk in a high voice and a low voice at the same time. Is there any truth to that?

Some people can place different tensions on the two sides of their vocal cords and produce a duet or choral effect.  Joan Baez did it in her live shows and it may be on some of her albums - she was making fun of girl duet pop singing groups (in the middle of great folk stuff)  This was 40 years back to memory is sloppy.

  Because content of speech is formed in the mouth, can't say different words, but two voices with different pitches are possible.  I didn't see that film so I don't know what the effect was.

I don't know about talking in two different voices at the same time, but I did meet someone who could beat box (make beats with his mouth) and sing the song he was making the beats to at the same time. It was amazing.
