Is it possible to tell if a person is dead...?

Question

by looking at their pictures.

Supposing that the pictures were modern pictures no red eyes etc.

Like in "Pictures of the Dead" by Derren brown

Apparently the whites of the eyes are no longer white in the dead

Maybe the color of their skin, it should be rather pale.  But then again, that could always be done my makeup.

You could also tell if their muscles look loose, or if they looked tense.  If their muscles looked tense, it's probably just someone modeling and trying to keep and capture their figure and pose.  If their muscles looked loose, they are either probably really relaxed, or dead.  Considering a dead person's joints, muscles, and such just molds onto what they are on or in.  Such as if they were rested on a chair, they wouldn't be sitting up completely straight, unless they were iced like that, or something.

Even if there was, I think it would be really hard to tell.

Because makeup is probably used and it might have been photoshoped a billion times to really look dead.

They should be either limp or stiffer then normal.

A loss of color, especially around extremities like fingertips, hands, feet.

Paler in general.

No red eyes.

If you can see their veins (in some peoples arms you can see them easily) they should be a weird color.

Dry lips.

Filmed over eyes. Without blinking dust builds up causing a filmy looking thing if dead for a while.
