Is it possible to throw up under water?

I mean with the changes in pressure pushing on your body?

i was swimming in deep water today and i wondered.

haven't got the guts to try it tho hehe

When you learn how to scuba dive, they make a point of reassuring you that you can throw up through your regulator (the thing you put in your mouth so you can breathe) so that if you feel the need to throw up while under water, you don't need to take the regulator out.
