Is it possible to transfer data files from a computer to a laptop by conneting with USB to USB?

One way is using a pendrive. But is it possible to transfer data directly to one computer to another.

you will need two standard usb type A-male connecters on each end

Yes, but you need a special USB Data transfer cable, the normal USB cable wont do it.
