Is it possible to transfer photos stored in a computer back to a digital camera?

yes, though note that sd disk card has format, so when you transfer images from camera to computer, there are index files with list, if you put photos back on disk without index file, they wont show up on camera, but they are still on disk,

so they actually go back on removable disk, and can be used to transfer elsewhere, and also verify that disk is empty,
