  1. She said DVR not TiVo.

Comcast has that box pretty well locked up.

Only way I know how to record from it is to hook a VCR or DVD recorder to the video and audio out on the back of the TV. Then as you watch the show, you can be recording it. You do have to watch it.

  2. I'm not sure but I would guess so. I was wondering the same thing but never got around to trying it. I'd say, get a dvd burner, hook it up to your tv, press "record to tape or vhs" but make sure there is no VCR connected to the tv and hope it transfers to the DVD. Good luck.

  3. Hi Brittanee,

I transfer video from our TiVo DVR with DVD Xpress. You can transfer your video to your hard drive and then edit it if you desire. DVD Xpress comes with basic video editing software. I got mine at Sam's for $59.95.

I saw a newer model at WalMart recently. It was the DVD Xpress2. I think it was $39.95 but I am not positive. You can check one out here http://www.usb-ware.com/ads-dvd-xpress-d...

You connect the composite output of your DVR into the DVD Xpress and connect the DVD Xpress to your computer via a USB cable.
