I just started attending the University of South Carolina a couple days ago as a freshman. It was not one of my top choices and now that I'm here I've decided I really don't like it. I wanted to attend Penn State but never got around to filling out my application while I was applying to schools. I was just wondering if I would have a chance at applying for the Spring 2009 semester. I know that they require 18 hours of college credit before applying as a transfer (I will only have 16) but I am willing to apply as a new student. But what I want to know is:1. Is it even possible for me to transfer?2. Will I get credit for the classes I will have completed at USC if I have not completed at least 18 credits and am not applying as a transfer student?3. I understand that Penn State University Park may not have openings for Spring 2009 and I am willing to attend Penn State Harrisburg and eventually transfer to University Park, does this campus make a difference in my probability that I will be accepted? Thanks!
