Is it possible to transfers high school now?

I was wondering if you transfer high school in august would you be accepted by the other school cause the first day of school is around the corner. I live in Massachusetts and i have really good grades, i receive honors and have mostly A's and some B's. This coming school year im going to be a sophomore and i want to transfer high school im currently at cause im not really happy being there and its not really helping me plan with my future. Would my school im currently at let me go or they just keep me cause im one of the honors student. Im going to the place where you transfer school this saturday and i need to know is it too late to do it now.

Depends on how many people are in the school && if they have enough room for you.

It has nothing to do with date or grades.

It really depends on the region/school.  High school is different from College in that there aren't thousands of students at each school.  Because of this, it is easier/faster to transfer.  When I was in high school, new students joined a few days after school started or even halfway into the year.  I think you should be able to transfer in time.

I think that it would be too late right now since it is august already, you may need to wait until next school year to transfer to the other school. The reasons are because you still need to fill out paperwork, register for classes, etc.
