I have just got a house and it doesnt have a cable jack in the room I want to watch tv. I dont really want to start drilling holes in the wall and feeding wires through walls etc.

Does anyone know of a cable transmitter which sends the signal over the airwaves to the TV. Basically Im looking for a sender / reciever via radio waves for cable TV.

I know of FM radio transmitters but not for TVs.

Any information would be appricatated!

Thanks

  1. I have a couple such units at home.  The main problem you might experience is that these units are simple transmitters - they don't have a tuner, so they need to be hooked up to a tuner-equipped device (like a VCR).  This also means that, while you can watch the signal anywhere in the house, you can't change the channel without going to the "main" unit.

  2. Yes, it is possible, there exist such products.

Here is an example, you can probably find others
