Of course it is - as long as you put it on a ferry between Dover and Calais or Dunkirk. I believe that the tedious pair Ewan McGregor / Charlie Borman went that way on motorbikes via Kazakhstan in the TV programme The Long Way Round. But a long diversion is required to avoid western Afghanistan.

By far the quickest way is through Greece and across the Dardanelles to Turkey, then through Iran and into Pakistan. Someone from an EU country would need visas / vehicle documentation only for Iran and Pakistan by going this route. It is also much, much safer than going across the caucuses.

You will need a spare tyre and a sunny disposition!
