  1. I suppose it would be possible but very difficult - ie think you would need special authority from the US government to do so - if you are a tourist there on holiday the only way that a travel company can organise it would be - to fly from cuba to another island - ie Jamaica / Haiti and then into Miami.  This would turn out to be very expensive though as its not really something that people ask for.  Best advice - stay in Cuba - i have been to Cuba 4 times  - its a great place with lots of history and culture to explore!

  2. Check - kayak web site for cheap flights. Cuba is not in political agreement with the rest of the Americas so the low cost flights may be not running and ferry boats for that matter.

  3. There is no scheduled transportation between the US and Cuba. It is illegal for Americans to conduct travel-related business with Cuba.

Some people will tell you to go through a third country. However, that is also illegal for US citizens. Special permission is required and is given only for specific reasons. Permission is not granted for tourism. You can be arrested when you return if you are caught.

    For more information, see http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw...

  4. I'd be surprised if there were any legal ways of doing it. The US and Cuba do not have diplomatic relations. I have been there several times and there are NO American tourists there at all. Lots of Canadians, but no Americans.

  5. It is possible, but not legal.  You could always sneak a raft or speedboat out of Miami and go to Cuba, but there isn't going to be any official flights or boats going.  It is illegal for Americans to spend money in Cuba, which basically means that you can't travel there.  Since that is the case, there won't be any legal way of getting directly from Miami to Cuba.  You could, however, fly from Canada to Cuba, and pay a travel company.  Since they are actually spending the money instead of you in Cuba, that is relatively legal, I think.

  6. Doubt it, as i understand its against the law in the States for the Americans to travel to Cuba.
