Is it possible to turn a Classic Mustang Coupe into a Convertible?

I've always wanted the Mustang Convertible.

I've noticed that good Convertibles are much more expensive than good Coupes.

Is it possible to turn Coupe into a Convertible? Or would it be too costly?

Please don't yell at me for wanting to butcher a classic car (which I have not done), I was only wondering if anyone knew how expensive this type of thing would be.

Anything is possible if you have enough money.

It is not possible. A convertible has much more bracing then a coupe. This bracing keeps the frame and body from flexing and keeps the car rigid.  If you simply cut the top off a coupe you'd be left with a very unstable vehicle.

The cost of making it right would be much more than simply buying a ragtop to begin with.
