Of course the electrical components would be out of the water. The oil would heat the metal of the heater therefore the metal would heat the water.

  1. If you put some fish in the pool, it would be a good way of making fish soup.

  2. The best way to heat a pool is by pumping the water up through a network of pipes fitted into panels on the house roof and then back into the pool. Electricity must be treated with respect.

  3. Not a safe idea,at all.Why not just heat a pan of water? I do that for my dog.She loves it,not too cold not tooo warm.

  4. NO!

The electrical components could complete a circuit to a near-perfect ground, resulting in a deadly electrocution hazard.

You'd be better off just adding some buckets of household hot tap water to the swimming pool to increase the temperature.
