if you mean songs you have paid for from itunes then yea it is, you just burn them to cd and rip them from the cd as MP3, thats the only way atound apples fairplay protection

Not through iTunes it's not, I don't believe. The easiest way I can think of is to refer to http://media-convert.net. Browse for the files, (easiest to drag them from iTunes into a separate folder on your desktop) select the input file type, (I believe its an AAC file) and then select your output file type as mp3 or whatever your phone takes. There is a handy little list if you scroll down the page a little that tells you what phone can play what type of file. Press Convert and then click Download when it is done converting. Sorry this is such a long process, because you must do it one at a time, but I believe its the only way to do it without reloading the CD into Windows Media Player.

music files from itunes are drm-laden. in order to play them on mp3 players other than ipod and iphone, you need a special program to help strip off the protection and convert the itunes m4p, m4b, m4a music to mp3. i always use tuneclone. my friend introduced it to me. it automatically generates a virtual cd burner, with which the music files can be converted at very high speed.
