    It basically says to take the .zip file and double click it, or if that doesn't work, use the terminal and use the command "unzip".

    The easiest way is to use Stuffit Expander, which comes with the Mac.


  2. Stuffit expander no longer comes with Mac - that is old advice and the link to the website was started 2 years ago.

    OS X now handles zip files very easily. Just double click and it will open.  If not, the swiss army knife of unarchiving, The Unarchiver *link below) will do the job for you and is free.

    Don't be tempted to install Stuffit Expander, it'll just annoy you constantly about upgrading...
