  1. my experience is that

    YES we can

but we prefer the certainty of the OTHER five senses

prior to unlock one's sixth sense, one has to figure out the way to  completely control it and not to risk to release some furious ghost, ...or simply to protect oneself from some unconscious behavior like sleep-walking

  2. The 6th sense is different for everyone.  The key is to find what your individual 6th sense is and the key to unlocking it.  Concentration is key, and I am guessing that complete quite and self reflection must aid the development in some manner (such as meditation).

  3. Cat Lady's answer is probably the most scientifically acceptable one regarding a "sixth sense."  In that context then it could be argued that U.S. special forces, and other special forces the world over have a "sixth sense."  Also, animals are able to perceive things we can't, largely because their brains are much simpler and not bothered by excess data clutter.  From a purely scientific standpoint, it IS possible to develop instincts like those of a wild animal.

In fact the idea of wildnerness training regarding military spec ops, is the fact that they want the best of both worlds; they want the discipline and logic of scientifically refined killing and demolition techniques, but, with the instincts of a wild beast, controlled by that discipline.  Naturally the only way to think like an animal, is to live like one, hence the reason why those guys are dropped off into the wild in nothing but their underwear.

    "good luck son...."

    peace.

  4. I personally believe that humans can harness many things such as a sixth sense however are limited by the five senses of which we are taught about , therefore is people look inside and come to know themselves and are self-liberated we can accomplish things such as that

  5. Yes, if you use more than 16% then you might have a 6th sense.

Average is 10% used. Einstein and those brainics have like 14%.

If a brain was used at his full, 100%, you could do things like fly, move objects with your mind, read peoples mind and many things that similiar. It is no joke and proven. Monks spend a life developing their brain and they reach 16-18% and they can levitate and move small objects. Their 6th sense are detecting auras.

  6. Yes.

  7. It hasn't been proven if we have a sixth sense. In fact, many sixth-sense promoters even differ on what the 6th sense is exactly - ranging from fortune telling to predicting danger to telekinesis to other mystical powers.

At the moment, the 6th sense has no evidence and doesn't exist.

That is blatantly wrong. The 10% brain usage myth comes outdated work from the 1800s. We actually use 100% of our brain, and over 90% at any given time.

This myth is actually so stupid - if we use only 10-20% of our brain, that'd mean it would be ok to cut out the other 80-90% of our brain.

  8. The sixth sense is the product of all sensory information coming into your brain. (Sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste.)  Acute sensory awareness combined with one's natural analytical ability can literally create a sixth sense.  Your mind must be developed enough to be able to sort and catalog this input and form conclusions from the data.

  9. maybe if we could find out wat it is

  10. u have oredi started to unlock your sixth senses. hehe...
