Depends on the socket. Some T5xxx can upgrade, while others can't in the same series. Crippling, either deliberately or for some reason..

Based o my source, it seems like you can upgrade to at least the T8xxx models.

find out what type of processor ur laptop has and then u should just upgrade the speed. i donno i have never tried going from an intel celeron m to anything else. make sure the pin type is the same.
