Like B&O #25 "William Mason" or V&T #22 "Inyo" to star in a western movie even in 2008?

  1. Answerer # 1 beat me to it, it has been done more times than I can count, in major motion pictures and many smaller releases too.

    Much less temperamental than human stars.

    And dont even get started on the steamy love scenes.

    McCloud River Rail Road's #25 played a part in the Rob Reiner movie, "Stand By Me."

    SP's 4449 (with Doyle McCormick at the throttle) made a cameo appearance in a film with Burt Lancaster, which I believe was his last movie, can't remember the title, but it had to do with gangsters.

    The Sierra Railroad engine's (outside of Jamestown in the Sierra Foothills of California) have been captured in numerous Hollywood productions.
