Is it possible to use USA landline phones in China?

I have many landline phones and I want to use them in China.If possible,that would be great.

  1. Yes, it should be, but I don't know whether you can rely on TouchTone service in all areas of China, and some newer American phones lack a switch or control to set them to pulse mode. Anything rotary or at least fifteen years old is definitely fine.

    You may need to buy an adaptor that changes RJ11 phone cable terminations to something else.


  2. yep! tip and ring is the same around the world... they even use RJ11 type jacks.
