I know the plugs are different but would like to know whether there is an adaptor available or if anyone knows the wiring schemes used so that I could make my own adaptor.

  1. the above is true. A handset may cost a few dollars.

It is possible on mobile landlines, but the cost of using the fone will be outrageous and you are better off paying for an American line. They are less expensive than UK and they do not charge per call. It is one monthly rate

  2. no gimmics for a thing so inexpensive as this.

Adaptors will be available in a chinese shop $ shop u call in US

  3. Why bother, you can pick up a new handset in the US for just a few dollars.

  4. You probably can...and there are adaptors that you can convert UK to US if it says 220 to 120 on the phone. However, like the other person said, why bother. You can go to Target or Walmart and pick up a landline for literally 10 dollars (or less). Granted, they don't have all the fancy features but who cares. That's what a cell phone is for.

  5. Need a long cable

  6. u want to use only landphone?not connexion rite. yes u can use it using a adapter. adapters must be available on your city. just check out for a 110/220V Adaptor.

  7. I should have thought they're as cheap as chips to buy over there, so just do that - and what's the h**l is all this about 220/110 adaptors - phones don't run on mains current !
