  1. yes it is ,i used to have one but you need to have it tuned to sky but sorry i dont know how you connect up as i didnt do it myself s------o-----rr---------y.

  2. My Sky comes through Channel 6 on my TV, so I just set the video recorder to record that channel. As has been said though, you need to make sure the Sky box is hooked in with the recorder.

  3. Well on my video recorder instead of moving it to record channel 1 or 2 you can move it to E1 which records what ever the television is showing. so you can't do it if you are watching something else, on mine anyway!

  4. Yes.  Just plug your Sky box into the Video as well as the telly using a Scart lead...

  5. If your remote has a feature on it called Input Select then go to L1. You just press the button and watch the video info screen. Its either a channel No or  L1 or L2. If you are watching a prog via the video, say ITV channel 3 then the TV screen just goes blank. Switch to standby on video. Tune in to a sky prog as usual and pick the prog you want to record. Switch on video and press record. I am not sure if you can use the timer because mine has ceased working. The cable connectons to the TV and top boxes are as usual. Its the line input you need to work on. Its just the same if you want to play your video camera back through the video so that you can record your own stuff.
