Is it possible to use my DirecTV Dish with my Dish Network reviever or dvr?

we just recently got dish network (switching from directv) and im wondering if like when we go camping, can we take our dish network reciever or dvr, and the old directv dish and hook it up. i mean they're all the same arent they? as long as i aim at the DISH satellites? btw, the DISH dish has two lnb's, directv dish has one

The same dish would work just fine, when it comes down to it a dish is a dish.  However if I remember correctly you would need new lnb's.  They are not compatible with each other.  But still it would cost you less to buy new lnb's then a whole new set up.
