Is it possible to use the GI Bill and other educational benefits towards a Master's degree?

  1. Yes I did, also joined the National Guard when I got out of active duty and used state tuition reinbursment along with the GI bill. I believe a full time Master degree student is considered 9 semester credits to get full GI Bill. Its 12 semester credits for BA or BS degree to be considered full time.

    Your GI Bill typically only covers 4 years. I had taken some classes while I was active duty and took a lot of credits when I was working on my BA so I was able to have the GI Bill cover both. IE I finnished my BA in 2 1/2 years taking 18-22 semester credits a semester.  


  2. Yes the GI Bill will pay for Masters Class's.

    But Air Force tuition assistance while on active duty, will only pay for undergrad class's.
