  1. I would agree with previous posters and say only if you could take night classes. This is more often an option these days though. I took evening classes while I worked full time for my masters.

  2. yes, if u r really determined u can take night classes instead of day classes. Good Luck!

  3. I know when you first start off with ups its very long hours..so i would say no too your question unless they hire you only on weekends..

  4. It all depends on the job that you get. New hires are part-time flexible employees. That means you may work 35,40, 50, or 55 hours a week depending on the post office's schedule.

It would be difficult to coordinate your schedule around the post office's needs.

  5. ♥ You should be able to do that... I work full time [[day time hours]] and go to college at night.  My hours for work are 8:30-4:30-5 and I go to college from 6-10.  It most certaintly can be done, but you may have to change to evening classes.  Good Luck!

EDIT: Why the thumbs down?? Because I work & go to college?? Get a life to whomever gave me a thumbs down!

  6. You could probably do if you worked at a REC (remote encoding center) as a TE. They usually have evening shifts. Of course there aren't many RECs around anymore.

  7. Honestly no. It depends on what you get hired for. If you get hire as mail handler, your going to start working on overnights. If you get hired as a clerk your going to start out doing splits. They will have you come in at 5am, sort mail for the carriers and then go home and come back in the afternoon and work the window. If you get hired as a carrier (what I do) you are going to work 6 days a week (sometimes 7) 8-10 hours per day. You are a bottom feeder and they are going to work you as hard as they can. Any of those jobs are going to be 6 days a week at least. If you think you can handle that work load and do school then more power to you but I personally would not be able to handle it.

  8. yeah just work in the am and make sure that you have enough study time to pass your classes.
