Is it possible to workout and gain weight at the same time?

or do I have to stop working out to gain weight? I workout/eat all the time and I WANT TO GAIN WEIGHT. Can I gain weight if I workout or do I have to stop working out in order to gain weight?

  1. If you eat more calories than you burn, you will gain weight. Period.


  2. Assuming you dont' want to lose your muscle tone, you need to lift heavy weights in lower repetitions. You'll gain muscle mass and bulk.  

  3. haha yes. i hate it wen it happens.i'm a track runner. and wat we have to do is get stronger abs. so we dunt cramp wen season comes around. okay so

    one thing you need to noe. muscles weight more than fat. so before the time period when the coach tell us to do ab work. i tryto get rid of the layer of fat in front of my tummy. and work out. so the fat doenst turn muscle. and stay there forever

    but since you WANT to gain weight. eat eat eat! and turn it to muscle. allyou need is patience and consticency. there ya go!
