Is it possible tt u see a screenshot on yr tv which seems impossible cos ur cablebox is turned off?

HELP! I turned on my TV and for a second or so I saw this screenshot "Loading..pls wait". The problem is, this screenshot appears when I turned on my cabletv box but when i turned on my TV, the cabletv box was switched off! Is it possible that a TV captures the delay/decay of a screenshot (I don't know how to express it...)?

You ARE CORRECT....TVs can store a picture that was previously on it...that picture will stay stored until NEW information replaces it....

That's why you see it occur at the end of the tv show when they switch to a commercial...that black video does not replace the tv show's video....

I see it all the time....

But I'll also tell you this...The FIRST TIME I saw it on my TV set, I about crapped my pants...What the HECK is wrong with MY TV !?

Then I realized that my TV is DIFFERENT than the OLD TV

I had, and it was going to behave differently....

So now, when I see the frozen images, it doesn't bother me at all....
