Is it posssible to ride a zebra ?

Can you teach a zebra to work like a horse as well ?

Have you seen Racing Stripes? Plenty of Zebra riding there.

It is possible and is done occasionally.  However you should be aware that zebras can be mean.  Each year more zoo handlers are killed by zebras than all the other zoo animals combined (including tigers, lions, and bears).

They have the nasty habit of grabbing on to someone and bucking, kicking, and stomping until there is not much more left than a bag of broken bones.

BTW be cautious of the zebra horse and zebra donkey hybrids as well.  They can be just as mean.

Yes...? I believe you  can, like donkeys etc just it would be harder

Yes, but it should only be attempted by experienced animal trainers. Sometimes you can find them already broke for sale. There is also something called a "Zorse", cross between zebra and a horse, that can be found for sale. Good Luck!

With their well known nasty attitudes WHY would you want to?  If you want stripes, go look at some dun horses with 'em.  They are bigger, have better gaits and attitudes.

yes it will probably be like a donkey or mule

Yes, zebras can be taught to be ridden. But, since they are quite wild compared to horses, who have been domesticated for thousands of years, it is very dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. They are still a wild animal, and during, and even after training, they can be unpredictable.

ABSOLUTELY, and you can ride a tornado as well!  Straight zebras will always be zebras, and even experienced trainers never let their guard down when dealing with them,...Yes, movies are made showing zebras doing wonderful things, but then, so are horses, dogs, squirrels, turtles, spiders, cats, elephants, big cats, etc, etc, etc.  It doesn't mean that these animals are truly domesticated (which they are not) and cannot be trusted, never.
