It seldom gets humid in the Basel region. Hot, yes, in June, July and August but by Sept. it's usually cooling off.

Not at all, and the way the weather has been lately, chances are that it'll be rainy and cool by then. If we're lucky, temps will stay around 25-15C until October, but it hasn't been like that for the past couple of years.
