Question:

Is it pretty much game over for the fatties who used to rule the LPGA tour?

Given the dominance of Ochoa, Sorenstam, Creamer, etc. can we declare the fatso era of the LPGA over? With the increased emphasis on being in shape and being athletic, it looks like the fatties can't compete with the new LPGA golfer. I would be thrilled if I've seen the last of a Laura Davies, a Meg Mallon or a Pat Hurst slogging it up a fairway on Sunday.

  1. I agree the sights are easier to look at

But thats because 75% the LPGAers are ASAIN now.  And as we all know their diet consists of rice with a side of rice.

Seriously though, the tours are turning green, and everyones getting slim and fit.  Its good for the game, and a great example on the younger generation.

  2. Yes, and the lesbians too. I mean seriously, you've got Paula Creamer, Natalie Gulbis, Morgan Pressel, Stacy Lewis, Angela Park, and my new favorite tight pants wearing hottie Inbee Park.

..... and let's not forget, in about 4 years we'll have Cheyenne Woods too

  3. i don't think it's over because they're fat, but they're definitely not going to be able to compete with these new girls. It's not because theyre' not attractive, it's because they're out of shape. Golf is a sport, and you have to be in relatively good shape to play sports - even golf!!!. Definitely seen the last of laura davies and the like.

Oh and that Lori ***** on the Big Break : Kaanapaali got schooled. i'm sooooo glad.

  4. yes it is.
