Is it profitable making a living by buying and selling businesses (i.e. restaurants)?

I've heard of people buying and selling homes (flipping) to make a living. Is there such as thing as flipping Businesses? Is this profitable and if so, where could i find more info on this as far as books, websites, etc. ? Thank you all

You have to make the Business A money maker Attractive

to A buyer.   their is a lot of $$$$ involved with restaurants,

A gold mine can be found but it takes a lot of $$$$$ to bring them to A profit state that will attract buyers...

Housing is easy any thing else is costly!!!!!!!!!!!!!
