  1. I always grab all of the balls before a putt is sunk, those are my rules!

  2. I ususally grab my own balls, but if I'm tending the pin, and my friend sinks a long putt, I grab his too

  3. guess u like a lot of ball grabbin huh?

  4. I'm so glad I'm a girl.  I don't have to worry about things like that.  Most guys are absolutely DELIGHTED to have you retrieve their balls regardless if it's good etiquette or not.

  5. Well, in tournament play, the proper etiquette would be that your buddy removes his ball before you hole out, but in a friendly game then yes, it would be proper etiquette to take your buddy's ball along with your ball out of the hole. It would be just plain rude to make your buddy pick up his ball after you just grabbed yours.

  6. If it's just you nad him...no one will notice and if he's into it....but in a foursome...it's every man for himself...bring plenty of K  entuck Y  J elly

  7. they like to grab their own for some reason

    :)~

  8. Proper etiquette would be for your playing partner to have removed his ball from the cup before you putt so that your ball couldn't bounce off his ball and pop back out of the cup. On that occasion you still have to putt your ball into the cup. In my 45 years of playing golf I've seen that happen once.

  9. He should have removed his own ball.

In a friendly game with my older friends, however, I'll retrieve their balls from the cup to save their backs.
