  1. I'm all for women in office.  I think that the right woman would be cause for celebration.  But McCain chose her because she is a woman.  Bad move.

  2. Would it have made you feel better if she had aborted her kids?

  3. She can't tend to both aspects of her life? You are sexist!

  4. No need to be nasty. She has a wonderful husband and family to help her. I do kinda see your point, but women juggle career and family everyday. I don't agree with her policies, but I am happy to see the Republicans trying something new.

  5. Sounds OK to me.

She can hire a nanny if necessary.

She can hire an abortionist if she gets pregnant again.

  6. That first answer burned you so hard.

I coulda swore I saw her family there at her acceptaince speech?

So did the one above me. d**n YOU GOT TORCHED!

  7. It's sad that Sarah Palin would put her own ambitions ahead of her family. No, it's not any kind of family values.

  8. Good point. She went back to work 3 days after having the baby and didnt want to take maternity leave.  I guess when you have plenty of money you can just have the nannies take care of your kids.  I could see if it was 2 kids but d**n she has 5, put your family first.  Another one with a lot of money, will she understand the struggles of the middle class? Her and McCain make a good pair, they both will be out of touch.

Wont be long and she will probably pop another one out. I am guessing she doesnt believe in birth control.

  9. How do you get that Gov. Palin is abandoning her children?    That makes absolutely no sense.

So I will ask you how Sen. Obama is instilling "Family Values" in his children while being on the campaign trail?

    See how silly that sounds?

  10. Don't be such a sexist - her husband took a leave of absence to stay home with the kids.

  11. she kin dew alla that on akownt of she is runnin for pursident

her and mccain siwshed plasus this mornin hes desidead 2 b vise pursident insted

  12. She should really look into The Family Medical Leave Act... she should get 6 months. Thanks Bill Clinton!

  13. for a power hungry republican it does

  14. hmm you raise a good point.

  15. Not necessarily. If you're in position to be able to run for office and make changes (not just changing diapers) you can accomplish more for a nation of families AND your own family as well.

  16. Those Republican Family Values would only apply if she were a Democrat.  That is how Republican Family Values work.

  17. Well, Male politicans can do it so why can't she?  Hasn't she got a husband who can take care of the kids?  Or is it the 'woman's place is in the home' mentality which means women have to forget any ambition if she is a parent (most kids do have two parents! so why is it the woman who should lose out?)

  18. She can run for office with her children by her side. That is a sexist comment if ever there was one. Men leave their families all the time to run for office. They go on the road and campaign and never once is there a comment made about it. So to slam Sarah for running is a sexist backwoods desperate comment from a leftist who is scared to death because McCain has chosen a strong woman as his running mate so you have to choose the first thing you can think of to slam her for. There was an article on People.com where they interviewed her and John and talked about the kids being on the tour bus and John being able to help her change diapers. She is not ditching her kids to do this, they will be right by her side. She is a good mom and a great VP candidate.

  19. No, siblings in big families give a lot of love and support to the younger ones.  All families should be big and healthy.

  20. I would say it's something that her children can be proud of.  Does her husband look like a "today's man" John Edwards perfect hair type who can't handle the hard stuff?  Doesn't look like it.

Is this the best you can do, smear-wise?  Pretty weak.
