  1. if i was a girl is the right answer...were belongs to plural forms....

  2. WERE..

    WAS is gramatically wrong.

    If I were a girl

I I were the Principal. etc.

    TW K

  3. were

  4. "Were" is grammatically correct; however, "was" is acceptable in informal, familiar conversation.

  5. When a statement is contrary to fact, then a singular noun or pronoun takes the plural form of the verb.  Therefore, since you are not a girl, then the grammatically correct statement is "If I were a girl."  As another example, if I am not going to the movies, it is correct to say "If I were going to the movies, I would want to see  . . . "

  6. Were - it's the subjunctive mood (a possibility), not the indicative (a certainty).

  7. its if i were a girl

  8. Fiddler on the Roof: If I were a rich man..

    was is past tense

    were is correct

  9. "if i were a girl "....is used by a boy(person of opposite gender)as he can't be a girl

  10. was - girl is singular
