  1. oh definitely. never have been in loved is just so pathetic, i mean personally. it's just that, you don't get to feel being human.

  2. That's what I keep telling these girls when I'm dumping them.

  3. Always. Between the rough and the smooth there are nice memories.

  4. Yes, it is.

  5. A thousand times...

  6. yes

  7. If any adult goes through life and has never loved they haven't really lived. Love can suck like an industrial vacuum cleaner sometimes, but I guess heartache is part of the human experience.

  8. Sometimes I wonder.....

  9. Yes; it's better than not to have experienced it.

  10. From my own point of view, yes, absolutely!

Of courser the more we open ourselves to other, the more easily we can get hurt, if things don't work out. But closing our hearts as protection, creates also unhappiness. So is better to risk!

One of my favorite poems is one by the French poet Paul Verlain, he addresses this, he says, that without love his heart is sad, that he prefers to love and lose, than to feel nothing. "Sans amour et sans haine, mon coeur a tant the peine"

    The translation of this poem:

    It Weeps In My Heart

    Paul Verlaine

(Il pleut doucement sur la ville)

    It weeps in my heart

As it rains on the town.

    What is this dull smart

    Possessing my heart?

    Soft sound of the rain

On the ground and the roofs!

    To a heart in pain,

O the song of the rain!

    It weeps without cause

    In my heart-sick heart.

In her faith, what? no flaws?

    This grief has no cause.

    ’Tis sure the worst woe

    To know not wherefore

    My heart suffers so

    Without joy or woe.

  11. yes...

  12. Absolutely.

  13. yea.

  14. Yep - everyday of the week!  Loving is a unique and incredible experience - and one that teaches us alot.  Sure, the hurt of loss can be painful - but the learning far surpasses that hurt.

Those that back away from the fear of hurt are not living at all....

  15. Yes, to never experience love is never to have truly lived and felt true happiness and real pain. We live our lives forwards and learn from it backwards.
