Is it "greener" to shop on line and have everything shipped to me or go to two or three stores in one area?

like a bigger city with stop and go traffic. I have tried but I can't get everything at one store.

Stop and go traffic. Better online. Save gas that way. Time? time is always needed when shopping.

Make lists of things you would need throughout the week for food. The absolute best time to go food shopping is at night.

I personally could be dog tired. Midnight rolls around.....food shopping. Weekends are best for it....everyone else is either watching tv or partying.

Other items?.... home essentials ( toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, q-tips, computer supplies, etc...) I buy in bulk. Necessity demands. I alter what I buy so I don't need everything at the same time. I might buy a whole case of tp.

Drawback?....storage space. My basement is almost full of consumables, appliances like washing machine/dryer/spare freezer. All this saves the week-to-week drudgery and additional expenses. Who does not go out without eating out?....I have saved so much money from eating out(less the spare tire-lost 40 pounds) just by buying in bulk. You may not need it or have room to store it, but buying this way has its perks.  Only thing I have left is view the link for an answer about shopping online. Mind you its not the content but what to do about prior online shopping.
