The Alaskan Independence Party said she was a member of their party during the 90's, Her husband WAS a registered member of the AIP during the 90's. They want to secede from the United States. They hate their American citizenship.

  1. your probably a little too young to remember the 90's....but back then rep.'s were about as happy with Clinton, as they seem to be at the prospect of Obama becoming President....sooooo, if he does happen to win, don't be surprised if Alaska starts considering backing away from the US again.

  2. No she wasn't a member of the party that has been proved to be inaccurate. However, I should tell you that she hasn't said " For the first time in my life I am proud of my country" - Michelle Obama

  3. I would say so.  But for convenience sake,  she all American now!

  4. As was already stated- Sarahs affiliation with the AIP was proven to be a mistaken statement.  She was not a member.

However the AIP is not the organization most people think.  The AIP basically wants to give Alaskans the opportunity to vote regarding being a state according to the standards of the United Nations (which were not followed during the voting process)  No military installations are permitted to vote in a statehood election, only the citizens and in the Alaska vote, military voted.  They also only included 2 options for the vote, where the UN says you must give 4 options.  The AIP simply does not believe it was properly conducted.

  5. The majority of Alaskans would favor secession, but they vote Republican in almost every election.

  6. If that's true, she should be tried for treason and hung like Saddam.
