Is it "uncool" to shop at at QVC?

My mum recently bought me a pretty necklace for my birthday from the shopping channel QVC. A girl from swimming said she liked it and asked where I got it from. I told her it was from QVC and she gave me a funny look. I replied with "what?" Why is it so bad to shop there?

idk why its bad , but they have cute jewelry and nice makeup (ie sephora stuff )

maybe she didn't know what QVC is....but i don't care where i buy it from as long as it's cute. she might have given you a funny look cause mostly some of the things on shopping channels are really really really really ugly and she was supprised that it was cute...

My family and friends used to make fun of me for shopping on QVC until they started receiving gifts from me! :-)

Maybe its cause she's seen them selling tacky discusting jewelry there. etc. i know i have. some of the stuff is really nice though.

idk why it is bad to shop there. i mean sure i watch the qvc channel and they have cute stuff sometimes. especially necklaces and other items. maybe say it was from some website but you forgot what site it was from. for one no one would notice it was qvc unless they saw it on tv or shop there...
