  1. YEsss !! Your vote should be based on if they can show or have you feeling that, that one will dedicate his time in office up`holding the constitution & striving for making lifestyles better!?!, solidarity, peace, balance etc. !! to overlook that & just to vote someone in because of the color of skin they are or have.. is just stupid !!.  rRr

  2. Voting for any candidate solely based on his/her race is definitely racist.

This is going to be an interesting year with one candidate being popular and black.  Many whites are saying that they'll vote for him.  But, WILL THEY?

Once they're in the poll they're the only one who knows how they vote.

  3. It seems that there are only two unifying forces right now among the Democrat Party. One, Black Racism as noted, and the other being the Phony Mafia-chemically-brainwashed neo-n**i Socialist type out to take the Constitution away. Any dreams of party unity fade because these two, which are already unified with each other, are "oil and water" with actual decent Americans comprising the rest of the Party. Regards, Larry.

  4. yes I think.....It was not right for whites to treat blacks differently and keep them out of things because of their color....why would you want to do the same the other way around...you would just be enforcing racism....vote for the man who will better America white or black!!!

  5. Yes, of course it is. Because what if his beliefs don't agree with yours? His being black does not mean he has the same agenda you may think he should have. A president should be voted on due to your agreeance with his/her views and ideals for our country.

  6. He (the president) is going to be the leader of the free world, why would you take the responsibility so lightly. And yes its racist.

  7. No. It's pride.

If you're voting FOR someone vs. voiting against someone.

(it's racist if that vote was AGAINST the white one, because the other is black -- and conversely for the white one, because the other is black)

  8. No, not really.

I'm a Liberal, and I wouldn't even call it racist to vote for a person just because they're white...

I'd say the color of someone's skin is NOT a good deciding factor when voting, but, many many many people have died to ensure that you and I can vote for whoever we want based on whichever criteria we choose.

  9. It is unlikely that people would vote for someone only because he is Black, if they disagreed with everything else about him.  What is unfortunately more likely is for people to disregard him because they are racist, rather than taking the time to think about what he has to say.

  10. No I just think that black people are voting for him because he is a relatable candidate and they believe he is going to be good for our country. not just because he is blaCK.

  11. No it is racist to kill him because he is black.

  12. It goes against you either way.  If you don't vote for a black candidate, you are automatically labled a racist.  But if you do vote for a black candidate, you are also a racist.  Not because of anything logical, but because you are not seeing who or what the person is.

Because if you do, then you are also a racist *because* you are seeing the person for whom he is.  And if you vote for him because of his race, and want to feel good about being multicultural, it still applies.

I gave up on it long ago because I lose either way.  Heck, I can be branded a racist for putting non-smoking signs up at my house.

  13. kinda but its not like your discriminating agianst whites. being racist is when you dont want a white presidential candidate to win because of his race.. i think lol -=]

  14. I would not go as far as to say that it is racist, but I will say that your choice would have been concluded due to all the wrong reasons. Your vote should never be about the race, creed, ethnic origin or gender. Think about it, will his/her race, creed, ethnic origin or gender really matter to you if he or she raises our taxes, or meaninglessly goes to war with a Nuclear armed country b/c that is what he/she thinks the US citizens want, or with out cause creates a bill that prohibits and restricts us from our God given rights, our even the rights that our four fathers fought for? And I don't necessarily mean our Political Four fathers, I also am talking about our blood ancestors, no matter the origin. Let me reiterate that I don't think it would be racist, but it scares me to think that this society is still so driven by individual pride, that no one stops to think of their choices repercussions. I am sick and tired of living under a stereotypical country of freedom motto, that describes our country as, " the UNITED States" when we so clearly live in one of the most socially as well as economically divide countries in the world!!! We claim to be together but really we are so far apart from one another it isn't funny. And sad to say, but the division starts in our most treasured system that IS the epitome of the USA, our local and national government!!!

  15. If the only reason you are voting for him is because he is black then yes that is racist.  Think about it. Why are you voting for him, his race.  You are being racist to other person because he isn't black.

  16. Racist, stupid, sheepish, and un-American.

  17. NO. That is just the one liner some white people use to negate a black persons voting choice.

  18. Yes.  You should do your research and find other reasons to vote for him, or maybe you discover you dont want to vote for him.  I voted for the mormon, cause I was raised mormon, only to realize later it wasnt a good choice.

  19. Yes it is. You should vote for a candidate, only if you have studied the issues, and believe that the person you vote for will do the best job.

  20. Yes

Blacks can be just as racist as Whites

As demonstrated by Rev Wright, Al Sharpton, and who can forget Jessie Jackson.

  21. I can see the reasoning behind it... however you should vote based on your political views

  22. white people have been voting for white presidents but SUDDENLY its wrong for to vote for a black presidential candidate because he's black??

    question to mccain supporters:

is it racist to vote for a white president because he's white?

im not racist but mccain is hated by his party because he doesnt hold the same values and beliefs they do, he's a passive democrat. so why vote for him? race.

  23. Yes.  You should vote for the person, not the skin color.  There is nothing inherent about race that makes a person a better president.

  24. yes it is, it is very racist and obama wont win, check out the "straw poles"  not the network tv channels...

  25. if thats te ONLY reason, then yes.  its just as racist as NOT voting for him ONLY because he is black.

  26. Any time a person votes for an individual for no other reason than the color of their skin it is racist. Be they black or white, racism is racism.Though in PC USA of today to say so is to be called a racist.

  27. Defining racism isn't important for this situation.  Voting for anyone can involve many reasons.  It is up to the voter to decide.

  28. Its not racist. However, take a look at Obamas voting record and note his answer to most problems ie schools, welfare, low income housing, etc is to thorough tax payers money at the problems. look at his record in his home state and that will give you an ida of his track record, besides that Obama is not an American.

  29. Well lets flip this for a minute and ask this:

Is it racist to vote for a white presidential candidate only because he's white?

    Answer:  YES (in both cases)!

  30. I don't know about racist, though maybe strictly in the broadest sense of the word. But it is rather stupid. Voting for anyone "just becase she'/he's _________" will not help this country right the ship.

  31. Just as racist to vote for a white candidate  only because he is white. The gate opens both ways.
